Happy 10th Birthday to Dasha!!! Dasha’s mom, Jodi, is one of my closest friends and I am so thankful to have met her. I get to see her often as she lives across the street, but those days are numbered : (
This weekend we had them both over for a little birthday dinner for Dasha, finishing off with a yummy ice cream cake!
We got Dasha this cute little hamster for her birthday. She’s been begging for another pet for so long and Jodi said it was ok if we got it for her. It was very cute as I took both J & D to the petstore and we told Dasha that I had to stop off there for something. She thought I was getting something for the dogs but she made a beeline for the small animal cages anyway to gawk over them. When we told her she could have one and that’s why we were there, she was beyond shocked! She totally reminds me so much of how I was at her age: her incredible love for animals, her love of reading, playing outside, and love of desserts! haha
My question for you this week is: If you could have an entire day to do whatever you wanted (assuming money was no object) what would you do?
Anyway it’s late, I should get to bed. I head off to Victoria tomorrow to visit my family for a couple weeks, I’ve been looking forward to this for so long. I’m sure my neices will be so much more grown up since I last saw them at Christmas! I can’t wait to see everyone.
I do have a new tutorial, I promise I will get it posted tomorrow for sure! : )
Sweet dreams
here’s my dreamy planning for MY day : spending time having breakfast with friends & family, going to beach to play in the waves, scrapping the entire afternoon with friends (while gossiping), and sharing a wonderful pina colada with friends before dancing on the beach.
waw, would love it !!!
a complete day at the SPA, with massages and fruit juices… and at the end of the day kisses from my children !!!
The choice is difficult, perhaps a day in a forrest, with the beautiful nature all around and only the sound of the birds…
There are so many things that would be fun for a day. I guess if money was no object I’d love to go dive with the whales in Australia for a day 🙂 Otherwise I might just be content to stay home and scrap without feeling guilty about not doing things that need to get done!
I would spend a morning/early afternoon at a spa and have a couple hour massage. I’d finish it off on a nice deserted beach to watch the sunset all by myself!
Babsy and I think alot a like – a warm breezy day at the beach with crafts and friends. That would be the best!
I would spend the morning on the beach with my family, the afternoon at a spa with friends and in the evening gather together with everyone for a huge seafood buffet!!!
Pretty cool post. I just came by your blog and wanted to say
that I have really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. Any way
I’ll be subscribing to your blog and I hope you write again soon!
just to go away and lay by the pool have someone serve me and not lift a finger would be a great day!!
I would love to spend my birthday with my birth mom…..doing girly things!
I would love to be able to spend a day with my family at Disney World! It is our dream vacation and I can’t think of any better way to spend a day than with my hubby and kids.
My first thought was scrap all day but then I thought, Okay, there has to be something else I would rather do if money was no object. Sorry, I am a scrapaholic. If money were no object I would love to be in Spain on the coast soaking up the goodness.
Hey Jessica, I used another mini book idea from your book in one of my projects. Everyone loves it. Please stop by my blog, http://www.christineousley.typepad.com if you can and take a look.
xoxo, Christine
I’d take my entire family – cousins included – to Disney for the day. I’d rent one of those limo buses so we could all get there in style and plan a fabulous day in the theme park. I’d arrange for us to meet all the characters so that everyone could meet their favourites. We’d be there from open until close, eat with the characters and do so much fun stuff. I’ve never been and I’d love to take my children.
I would spend the day in New York City with family and friends!! I’ve always wanted to go there and have never been and my favorite cousin lives there and would just love to go spend the day being all touristy with him.
Oh, if money were no object then I would take friends and family to our most favorite place an island on Lake George, Up state NY. We would stay there for a week of total pampering. Well I can dream, can’t I :}
I would go shopping in Hong Kong. Now I am not a shopper. In fact I hate doing this, but to turn me loose in the amazing fabric/textile/art world of Hong Kong would to me be really fun.
I couldn’t decided. Disney Land with the family, doing the all the rides in Toony Town. It is a great places to make memories and take lots of pictures with a really great camera. It is a wonderful place to be with the family. Or a trip to France with just me and my DH. Doing winery tours, flea markets, Museums, cafes, the Eiffel tower. Making memories and taking pictures with a really great camera.
I would spend my time with my husband doing stuff that is totally fun for both of us! We will laugh and have fun all day long! A beach may be involved. And yummy food including ice cream and cupcakes!
On a beach with my family and them having the best time of their lives ! or on a mountain in a luxurious cabin on the lake, with my family !
Cute photo’s !
If money were no object, I would like to go shopping and buy things for my family that they really wanted and surprise them with it. Of course, I would have to do some scrapbooking some time during the day.
I’D BE AT DISNEYLAND WITH MY FAMILY!
Just to spend a day with my two beautiful grown daughters, maybe at a Spa where they could be treated royally. And I would have them to myself! That would be a treat!
If my mom was still alive, I would most definately spend the day with her doing our favourite thing……..shopping. My second choice would be to take my kids to Disneyland.
I’d love to spend a day at a spa, relaxing.
